Allot of internet retailers use a review system, however we would not recommend taking any guidance from these. The reason for this is the way this has developed, which is actually far removed from what customers think it actually is.
Many customers are not aware that 95% of reviews are actually solicited from the retailer through a special review company, where the retailer pays a fee to that company, usually around £ 1000 a year, to handle these 'reviews'. Many companies, often those with the highest number of reviews, offer their clients a gift if they leave positive feedback, which gives rise to the gushing feedback often found on these sites. Then of course there is the issue of the companies leaving themselves feedback. If you were paying a £ 1000 a year you would expect it be highly positive wouldn't you.
